Filling in Brow Gaps

Filling in brow gaps may not be at the top of your list until you've over plucked or discovered, "Hey, I've got brow hair missing." Even if you don't have noticeable bald spots in your eyebrows, getting the shape you want can get a bit challenging. With the right makeup products, you can create fuller brows in just a few seconds. Make those brows stand out, in a good way!

Stencil It In

If you don't have a steady hand, give an eyebrow stencil a try. Filling in brow gaps is easy if you have a cheat sheet. Here's how you can use this cool tool.
  • Mark the end and beginning of your brow with a white eyeliner pencil.
  • Place the stencil over your brow. Use the white dots as a guide.
  • Brush eyebrow powder over the stencil opening using a small eyebrow brush.
  • Lift the stencil away. Finish the brow by brushing away an excess powder using a cotton swab

Just a Pencil

Get pretty brows with just a pencil! All you need is the right color, good lighting and maybe a pencil sharpener. You need a pencil shade that matches your brow color, not your head hair color. (Big mistake there!)
  • Sharpen the brow pencil. You need a fine point to control the color distribution.
  • Touch the sparse areas with the pencil. Use short, light strokes and add color as you go.
  • Blend in the gaps with the surrounding eyebrow.
  • Brush your eyebrows with a soft brush to even out the color.
If you've got unruly eyebrows, then a brow gel may be the best bet for you. For a color boost, try a tinted brow gel. Hide big gaps with an eyebrow marker. They're easy to use and perfect in a cinch!
