December Weddings Are a Creative Platform for You to Celebrate to the Fullest
In the subcontinent, where I grew up as a child, weddings in winters are quite a common occurrence. Winter weddings are much preferred because one can do so much rather than in the blazing months of monsoon rain and suffocating summer heat.
There are so many things one can do in winters that is impossible to be done in summers. Summers, however an exotic setting they can promise, have given trouble to brides in getting ready for their big day. It is extremely uncomfortable to dress up in frills and lace, doll up in make-up and travel before or after the wedding. One would not want to be dripping in sweat with frizzy hair on their big day. Thus, in my experience, winters have given them the perfect temperature to doll up and move around without breaking a sweat. The wedding dress, all frills and laces, remains unruffled, the make-up stays where it is put and the hair holds its sheen.
When you have an indoor setting, you are in control of elements that is otherwise impossible. Summer promises heat and maybe a prospect of a windy beach wedding but winters, on the other hand, gives one the opportunity to be as creative as possible in a given space. I have seen many weddings take place in cosy independent run art galleries where the couple is surrounded by their favourite art, their intimate family and close friends. I have experienced a wedding at a school where the couple had initially met and a wedding in a cosy movie theatre. When the outside seems impossible, other indoor aspects become a platform for a creative and, thus, an unforgettable wedding.
Lastly, winter is a season of celebration. With Christmas and New Year, a platform is open to make your wedding more eventful. With holidays and free time, everyone is in a more festive mood. Just imagine, kissing your lived one on a boat cruise as the year changes and the sky becomes decorated with fireworks! The whole world will celebrate with
