How to Make a PVC Pipe Man Cave Toothbrush Holder: PVC Pipe Toothbrush Tube

How to Make a PVC Pipe Man Cave Toothbrush Holder: PVC Pipe Toothbrush Tube
Supplies:
Piece of PVC pipe
Pipe cap

All man caves are different. One might be centered around a bedroom where another might be centered around a living room. One guy's man cave might have a built-in bar where another guy's doesn't. But there's one thing that most every man cave has and that's a bathroom. True, a guy might not want fancy towels hanging up for guests, or fuzzy covers that hide the lid and the tank of the commode. But there are still little things that even a guy needs for a bathroom. For example, he'll need soap by the sink, a rug to step out of the shower onto, and, of course, a toothbrush holder. If you don't have one that is screwed to the wall, you end up having to put a glass on the counter for it. If the man cave is yours, and you need a place for your toothbrush, you probably don't want a pretty, crystal glass to hold the toothbrush. But I know the perfect holder for you; it's a PVC pipe arrangement. It will fit right in with the rest of your stuff.
A leftover piece of PVC pipe, and a cap to go with it, is all that you need to make a toothbrush holder. Much better for a man cave than a pretty glass, the holder will stand on a counter and accommodate your single brush - or more than one. If you don't have a short piece of PVC pipe around your cave, try asking one of your pals, who likely does have a piece. Cut it to be a bit shorter than the toothbrush so that the bristles of the brush won't touch the pipe.
Put a cap on one end of the PVC pipe and leave the other end open. The end with the cap will be the end that sits on the counter. If the pipe is already an appropriate size, it only takes a minute to assemble the pipe and cap, and set it on the bathroom counter.
The useful toothbrush holder has a man-cave look and you can create a set that goes together. Use a larger pipe and cap to make a cup that holds your comb or brush and another one that holds a tube of toothpaste. Paint the pipes or leave them with their utilitarian look. Write your name on it or draw the logo of your favorite team. Either way, you'll create a cool home accent that doesn't have a girly look.
