Pink sugar sheet
Dark pink frosting
Plastic bag for piping or piping implement
Edible markers

A cherry blossom theme is a lovely one for a wedding or another occasion. The beautiful pink, red, and/or white colors, on the tables, the party favors, and the escort cards, are simply stunning. But if you're making most of your own wedding decorations and foods you might feel like you don't have the talent for creating such things. However, many cherry blossom things, such as table runners and candles, can be very simple to create. Want cherry blossom desserts? Make cookies. When you give sugar cookies with the look of cherry blossoms, you create gorgeous desserts, and you barely work at all!
New products make it super simple to create eye-catching and yummy desserts. You can still have a cake, but for those who don't want cake, make cherry blossom cookies. Sugar cookies make wonderful cherry blossom cookies but you can also use other types. Just make sure that the cookies have no protruding goodies, such as nuts or giant chocolate chunks. Even though you can choose from many different types of cookies, dark cookies, or really light ones, work really well.
Make homemade cookies, or use refrigerated sugar cookies, and bake according to package or recipe. Allow to cool completely. Then, decorate them to give them a cherry blossom theme. A pink sugar sheet can help you do that quickly and easily. Cut circles to be just a tad smaller than the actual cookies and, following the sugar sheet package instructions, put them on the cookies.
Edible markers also help you make the cookies quickly. Draw simplistic, black tree limb shapes, in a design that you like, on the cookies. Then, pipe simplistic flowers - with four or five petals each, and a dot in the center. Make the petals pink or red, and put a white frosting dot in the middle of each one, or make the petals white, and make the dots pink or red.
If you want, write on the cookies to list the name of the bride and groom, the date, or other information. Write across the top and make the cherry blossom limbs along the sides. Two limbs with cherry blossom flowers can serve to represent the bride and the groom.
Your guests will be full, impressed, and amazed at the cherry blossom cookies, especially if they find out that you made them yourself. Make them the day before and serve them at the wedding, alongside the other foods.
