Are you planning a winter themed wedding? Are you looking for ideas to make your dream wedding come to life? Well here are 3 fun and romantic winter wedding themed ideas:
If you are getting married around Christmas, why not do a Christmas themed wedding? You can have mini Christmas trees as the center pieces on all the tables. Use candy canes as name card holders. You could have little jingle bells around all the glass stems for an extra festive look. And as a wedding favor everyone could get a cute little ornament to take home with them; plus that makes for a wonderful memory of your wedding each year. Stringing popcorn or cranberries for added decoration. And if you are the fun type of couple you could always have your groom dress as Santa Claus.
If your not into the whole Christmas theme, might I suggest a snowflake inspired wedding? You could create beautiful snowflake invitations and, add a little bit of white, silver, or blue glitter to fall out when they open it. You could hang snowflakes from the ceiling and add some glitter to all the table to give it that extra sparkle. And why not go all out and do a elegant snowflake wedding cake? Envision a cake adorned in white, blue, and silver, with edible glitter. Or maybe cute cupcakes are the way to go, or both!
If you want to do something maybe more romantic, I would suggest thinking about a winter wonderland theme. Decorate pews with bare twigs painted white with clumps of holly berries. Have a cake decorated with cardinals, holly berries, and white twigs. Or if you are not into red, then do icicles, white twigs or plain colored twigs with maybe an ice blue or white peacock. Your groom could dress in a white tuxedo with complimenting colors. (red, white, blue, silver, etc...) Pine cones make for great place card holders and scented pine cones make for great wedding favors.
Adding a coffee and or hot coco bar would be a great addition to any of these themes and don't forget about hot apple cider and spiced rum!
